At the Rapid City Jai Alai (a.k.a Hi Li) fronton, a powerful gismo capable of controlling the sport is in the hands of Boss. Teeya, a skilled hybrid AI-enhanced player, finds herself entangled in a web of blackmail, pushing her to the edge. Threatening to reveal a dark secret, Boss forces Teeya to play in an EPIC match-up between her (a former champion) and Ranger the current world champion.

Both are fighters and the best Hi Li champions in Rapid city.
